Police arrest subject for Occupied, Interrupted Burglary

Spokane Police Officers arrested 28 year-old Benjamin Harrison after an in-home caregiver interrupted him while he was burglarizing a home. Harrison ran from residence and police located and arrested him after short foot pursuit.

On 07-25-13 around 11 a.m. Spokane Police responded to the area of 32nd/Napa after receiving a call of an interrupted, occupied burglary. A caregiver at the residence had just arrived at her place of employment. While working in the kitchen she heard a noise, went to investigate the noise and came face to face with a male burglarizing the residence. The man, Benjamin Harrison, ran from the scene. Police located the male, who immediately fled on foot, dropping numerous items as he ran. These items were later discovered to be property stolen in the burglary.

Spokane Police arrested the suspect, 28 year-old Benjamin Harrison after a short foot pursuit. He was booked into jail for Residential Burglary, Possession of Burglary and two felony warrants. One warrant was a Department of Corrections Escape Warrant and the second warrant was for 3rd Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer.
