Citizen tips and follow-up by patrol officers leads to the arrest of a suspect in the 1/10/14 Albertsons’ pharmacy robbery. A 17-year-old juvenile male was arrested and booked for 1stDegree Robbery following execution of search warrant in North Spokane.
On 01-10-14, around 9 p.m., Spokane Police responded to an armed robbery at Albertsons, 6520 N. Nevada. Two male suspects had entered the pharmacy area of the store and had demanded prescription medication. The suspects fled the scene on foot.
On 01-13-14 patrol officers received tips from two witnesses, who came forward after viewing footage of the suspects released by the media. The witnesses identified the two suspects in the incident and were able to lead police to the location where they had been staying. Officers wrote and executed a search warrant for the residence at 6200 N Wiscomb. A 17-year-old juvenile male was arrested and booked him into juvenile for 1stRobbery.
