South Police Service Area detectives and SWAT execute search warrant at 5900 N. Cochran; Police arrest 33-year-old Summer Allen for Conspiracy to Commit 2nd Degree Burglary and 1st Degree Theft.

On 04-01-14, at around 11 a.m., Spokane Police executed a search warrant at a residence at 5900 N. Cochran. Detectives from the South Police Service Area have been investigating a burglary where the losses amounted to over $100,000. Surveillance video from the victim gave investigators information that led them to the N. Cochran address. Spokane Police further received tips from neighbors of this address regarding suspicious activity. Information called in by the citizens was instrumental in helping detectives develop probable cause for a search warrant for the residence.

The Spokane Police SWAT team was utilized due to the past history of individuals with firearms and due to the nature of the burglary investigation.

One suspect 33-year-old Summer Allen, was arrested. She was booked for Conspiracy to Commit 2nd Degree Burglary and 1st Degree Theft.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing. Additional arrests are anticipated.
