Last night, 5/23/14, just before 10:30 p.m., a Spokane Valley Police Officer was responding to an emergency call for assistance. During that response, the Spokane Valley Police Officer was involved in an auto-cyclist collision at the intersection of Sprague and Vista.
The cyclist was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Due to the life-threatening nature of the cyclist’s injuries, the Spokane Investigative Regional Response (SIRR) Team was called to investigate the incident.
The scene has been processed by collision re-constructionists. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident is asked to call Crime Check, at 509.456.2233.
