Spokane Police responded to the report of an assault just after midnight last night in the 200 block of north Division. Officers were on scene in less than 3 minutes, but have been unable to locate any suspects at this time. Investigators are asking anyone with information about this incident to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.
Just after midnight on 06/12/14, officers responded with medical emergency personnel to the 200 block of north Division on the report of a male victim of an assault down in the alley. This victim was transported to an area hospital and is currently listed in stable condition. He sustained some bruising to his brain as well as some small fractures on the right side of his face. A second victim was also assaulted but was treated and released.
According to witnesses, the two men had just left a bar at the location and were headed westbound on foot in an alley. Two vehicles pulled up and around eight males got out of the two vehicles. They proceeded to assault the two victims, then got in their vehicles and left. At this time there are no further descriptions of the assailants or their vehicles.
