The Spokane Police Activities League (PAL) engages youth in positive athletic, academic and community service programs in an effort to help secure their path to a successful, healthy adulthood. PAL also builds relationships between youth in our community and the Spokane Police Department.

The program was initiated in the spring of 2013 as a partnership program developed by Spokane community leaders (including Operation Healthy Family, Youth for Christ and Kingdom Fellowship Church Alliance) and the Spokane Police Department through the formation of a summer basketball league and related outreach activities. This year the program has grown to include disc golf in addition to basketball and other outreach activities.

Session dates and youth age groups are listed below:

  • Disc Golf Program Session #1: every Wednesday from 11 a.m.–1 p.m., July 9th–August. This activity is for youth in 5th–8th grade.
  • Basketball League: every Thursday from 11:30 a.m.–2 p.m., July 10th-August 28th. This activity is for youth in 5th–8th grade.
  • Disc Golf Program Session #2: every Thursday from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m., July 10th -August 28th. This activity is for youth in 3rd and 4th grade.

All sessions are held at Liberty Park in Spokane.
