Spokane Police Investigate Stabbing in N. Spokane

Spokane Police investigate stabbing incident; Division from Liberty to Glass will be closed for the next several hours as the investigation continues.

Tonight, 08/11/2014, just before 8:40 p.m., Spokane Police Patrol officers responded to a report of a stabbing near the intersection on N. Division and W. Gray Ct.

Officers were on-scene within three minutes of the initial call and located a male who had sustained several stab wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Witnesses indicated the suspect left in a vehicle, however officers continue to interview these witnesses to gain more information. Initial information indicates the stabbing was likely not a random incident.

Division from Liberty to Glass will be closed for the next several hours as the investigation continues.
