Spokane Police Asking for Help Identifying Possible Assault Suspect

The Spokane Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a possible assault suspect from an incident that occurred in the early morning hours August 30, 2014, at Manito Park.

On September 1, 2014, the victim contacted Spokane Police to report the assault had occurred the night of August 30th in Manito Park. SPD officers followed up with the victim, who indicated she was assaulted by a male of Asian descent, in his 30s, approximately 5’3” - 5’9”, with a light build, dark hair, missing teeth, and driving a small, dark colored (possibly dark blue or dark purple), newer model SUV.

Officers conducted investigative follow-up at a local convenience store and acquired the attached photos of a person of interest in the assault.
