The Spokane Police vs. Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Charity Hockey Game practice is today, 11/18/14, at 2:30 p.m., at the Spokane Arena.
Off-duty Spokane Police officers and Spokane County Sheriff’s Office deputies will be practicing for the upcoming charity game, which will occur on 11/23/14 (right before the Chiefs game that night). All proceeds from the game will go to the Behind the Badge Foundation as well as the Chiefs Care Foundation.
Spokane Chief’s Hockey Team players will be practicing with the officers and deputies today, in preparation for the upcoming game.

On November 23 at 3 p.m., the Spokane Police Department will play a hockey game against the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office in the Spokane Arena to benefit the Behind the Badge Foundation and the Chiefs Care Foundation.
Behind The Badge Foundation was created to honor officers who have suffered a line of duty death or catastrophic injury. The Chiefs Care Foundation helps to raise money for the continuing education of Chiefs’ players as well as serving the Spokane community through donations and appearances.
The law enforcement game starts at 3 p.m.. Admittance to the law enforcement benefit game is free with a ticket to the Spokane Chiefs game versus the Kamloops Blazers, which starts at 5 p.m. that same night.
The Spokane Chiefs will hold a silent auction that night with all proceeds benefiting the Behind The Badge Foundation and the Chiefs Care Foundation. A pre-game ceremony will be conducted prior to the Chiefs game to recognize the Behind The Badge Foundation.
