With the opening of the new North Precinct in Hillyard, the Spokane Police Department will be offering this location as a “Safe-Zone” for Craig’s List and other sales transactions. The goal of the Spokane Police “Safe-Zone” is to provide a safe location where people can conduct business transactions knowing that a police officer is nearby.

The North Precinct parking lot at the corner of Market and Diamond will be available during the week from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. People wishing to use this as a meeting place for sales transactions will need to call 509.363.8281 to confirm an officer will be at the location when they plan to meet.
