Suspect Arrested for Felony Domestic Violence Order Violation

Spokane Police have arrested Kristofer R. Adams (27) for Felony Domestic Violence Order of Protection Violation, 2nd Degree Assault, and 1st Degree Burglary. Officers responded initially to a domestic violence burglary in progress. When officers arrived, Adams fled the scene. He was located a short distance away and taken into custody without incident.

Just before 7:00am this morning, March 10, 2016, Spokane Police responded to the report of a domestic violence burglary in progress in the 4400 block of south Donald Ct. The victim also reported her ex-boyfriend, Adams, assaulted her and may have armed himself with a knife while in her residence.

Officers arriving on scene, saw Adams flee on foot. A brief perimeter was established to try and contain Adams, but officers were unable to find him initially. At around 9:15am, officers were advised of a person matching Adams’ description at the Rite Aid in the 4500 block of south Regal. He was located there and taken into custody without incident.

The victim suffered a substantial injury during the assault, but declined treatment. Adams is being booked for 2nd Degree Assault, 1st Degree Burglary, and Felony Violation of a Domestic Violence Order.
