The Spokane Police Department Major Crimes Unit is asking for the public's help to identify a robbery suspect from an incident that occurred in downtown Spokane on June 15th. The female suspect (see attached pictures) pushed down a 75-year-old man, stealing the cash he had just withdrawn from an ATM. Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call crime check at 456-2233.

On June 15, 2016, just before 5:00pm, Spokane Police responded to the report of a robbery that occurred near the Bank of America downtown in the 600 block of west Riverside just after 4:00pm. It was reported the female suspect approached the elderly man, who had just removed money from the ATM machine outside, and asked him for money to catch a bus. As he looked for money to give her, she tried to reach for the cash he’d taken out of the ATM, then pushed him to the ground, took the money by force and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white female in her 20-30 years of age, with a medium build, dark brown hair in a ponytail, wearing a white tank top, blue jeans and dark colored shoes at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information on who this suspect might be is asked to call crime check at 509-456-2233.
