Southside death investigation

The Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit is conducting a death investigation in the 500 block of south Thor. Spokane Fire Department responded to a check the welfare call and found two deceased adults. Police officer responded and secured the scene.

This afternoon, December 29, 2016 just before 1456 hrs, Spokane Police Patrol Officers responded to the report of two adults being found deceased at a home in the 500 block of south Thor. Spokane Fire Department responded on a check the welfare call, found the deceased and called Officers to the scene. The Major Crimes Unit was then called in to assist in the investigation.

At this time the manner of death is unknown. Detectives do not believe this is a random incident and are currently processing the scene. The Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the victim and manner of death.
