Spokane Police Responds to Two Separate Bank Robberies

On January 3rd 2016, just before 11 am, Police responded to the Alaska Credit Union inside of Safeway at 933 E Mission. The male handed the bank employee a note, indicated he had a weapon (none was displayed) and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

While Police were investigating that Robbery, another bank Robbery happened at another Alaska Credit Union. This was also inside of a Safeway, located in the Shadle center at 2507 W Wellesley. During this Robbery the male did the same thing, handing the employee a note, indicating there was a weapon and then left with cash.

After reviewing video from both incidents, Police believe that the same male was responsible for both Robberies. We have attached a photograph of the suspect. Major crimes Detectives are investigating the incident.
