Washington Trust Bank Robbery

Spokane Police are investigating a robbery at the Washington Trust Bank located near E. Indiana Ave. / N .Ruby St. The incident occurred Friday just after 4:45PM. The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. A photograph of the suspect is being sent out, and anyone with suspect information is asked to call Crime Check at (509)456-2233.

Friday, July 6th, just after 4:45PM, Spokane Police received the report of a robbery at the Washington Trust Bank located near E. Indiana Ave. / N. Ruby St. The suspect entered the bank, implied he had a weapon, and demanded money. The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers arrived within minutes, set up a perimeter, and tracked with a K9. Officers have not located the suspect at this time. Officers are still on scene gathering evidence, and looking for surveillance cameras in the area which captured the suspects exit. Spokane Police are releasing the photographs from the Washington Trust Bank surveillance video showing the suspect.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, between 5’08” and 5’09”, average build, with long brown hair, a brown and grey goatee and mustache, wearing a red and white trucker style cap, black shirt, blue jeans, with numerous rings on his fingers, and tattoos on his arms.

Anyone who is able to identify the suspect, or has information regarding the robbery, is asked to call Crime Check at (509)456-2233.
