SPD Arrests Two for Manufacturing Controlled Substance

9:34 p.m. - SIU along with TCU completed an investigation today leading to the arrest of two people for Manufacturing a Controlled Substance.

Aug. 24

SPD investigating injury DUI crash at Ash and Wellesley Ave

12:50 a.m. - An intoxicated driver ran a red light, sending two to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Aug. 16

Homicide by Abuse Arrest

4:39 p.m. - Spokane Police Department Detectives arrest a male for Homicide by Abuse.

SPD Conducts a Bike Sting

8:41 a.m. - The Spokane Police Department conducted a bike sting to attempt and lower property crime numbers in a neighborhood experiencing high crime.

Aug. 14

Drug suspected in at least one fatality, twenty police calls

8:58 p.m. - SPD has received almost twenty calls of people acting erratically today. One fatality is possibly related.

Patrol Emphasis on North Division Street

12:51 p.m. - Spokane Police patrol Officers will be doing a traffic emphasis on north Division St tonight due to the recent car vs pedestrian collisions this week.

Hit and Run crash 6th/Bishop

10:09 a.m. - Spokane Police are investigating a hit and run crash between a vehicle and pedestrian on 6th Ave at Bishop Ct.

DV Stabbing on 55th Ave

10:06 a.m. - Woman arrested for assault 2nd degree (DV) after stabbing.

Multiple Convicted Felon Assault Arrest

10:05 a.m. - Multiple time convicted felon arrested for assault 2nd degree, assault 4th degree, malicious mischief 3rd degree and obstruction of justice.

Suspicious Death Near Division and Magnesium

9:59 a.m. - The Spokane Police Department is investigating a suspicious death near North Division Street and East Magnesium Avenue.

Aug. 8

Bicyclist vs. Vehicle Crash Results in Fatality

8:56 p.m. - Investigators are on the scene of a fatality crash at the intersection of Division/Providence. An adult bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Man Claims He "Fell on Tools"; Investigation Leads to 3 Felony Charges

10:06 a.m. - Thanks to astute hospital staff, a walk up complaint of injuries sustained after “falling on tools”, led to three domestic violence felony charges.

Aug. 3

Guns, Drugs, and Multiple Arrests out of Problem Residence

1:21 a.m. - Spokane PACT working with Safe Streets Task Force arrest multiple time convicted felons and seized multiple firearms out of a nuisance residence.

Aug. 2

Stolen Bike Recovered

9:50 a.m. - Great follow up by a downtown Spokane Police Officer leads to the recovery of a stolen bicycle that otherwise would most likely never been recovered.

SIRR Team Investigating, Officer Involved Shooting Incident

6:32 p.m. - SIRR is investigating the Officer Involved Shooting involving a Spokane Valley Deputy on July 25th, 2018, at the end of Hills Ct. near Fiske Street.

Hartson Car Crash, Shooting

6:27 p.m. - Spokane Police responded to the area of Hartson and Thor for a possible shooting call involving two vehicles.

Burglary Arrest

6:25 p.m. - SPD investigated a morning burglary at Mascot Pizza, located in the Logan neighborhood. Hours later officers were able to locate & arrest the suspect.
