One person stabbed in early morning downtown incident

On 10-21-18, shortly before 1am, SPD received a call of a stabbing near the intersection of Sprague and Washington in downtown Spokane. SPD officers were on scene within moments, and an adult male suffering from a stab wound was located in a parking lot on the Southwest corner of the intersection. SFD crews and AMR paramedics arrived on scene and treated the victim.

The adult male was transported to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

SPD is working to establish suspect information. It is possible the interaction between suspect and victim began in the 400 block of W Sprague. If someone observed the events preceding the stabbing, or witnessed the actual incident, they are asked to call crime check at 509-456-2233.
