SPD investigating DV stabbing incident in Garland District
On 12-17-18 shortly before 11:30PM, SPD received a 911 call of a possible stabbing in the 800 block of W Walton Ave. SPD Officers arrived on scene in approximately two minutes and quickly located an adult female suffering from apparent stab wounds. Officers began administering first aid, and the victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital. Despite the life-saving efforts of Officers, SFD and AMR Medics, and hospital personnel, the victim did succumb to her injuries.
