Armed Robbery at Mobil Station, 17th/Ray

Spokane Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred this evening at the Mobil gas station at 17th and Ray. The suspect displayed a knife and fled on foot. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.

This evening, December 19, 2018, just before 11:00pm, Spokane Police received a report of an armed robbery at the Mobil located in the 3100 block of east 17th. The suspect entered the business, displayed a knife and demanded money from the clerk. He fled south bound on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officers arrived on scene in less than two minutes from being dispatched. A K9 track was attempted, but officers were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a white athletic-style shoes, a light colored hooded sweatshirt, and dark colored pants.

This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
