Spokane Police Officers respond to stabbing in North Spokane

On June 19th, 2019, at approximately 7:24 p.m., Spokane Police Officers responded to a stabbing which occurred at the 600 block of E Wabash Ave. A male called 911 in reference to being stabbed. When officers arrived in the area they found a male with serious injuries consistent with being stabbed.

First aid was rendered on scene to the male by responding officers and the male was then transported to the hospital for his injuries. In the course of the early investigation, a female was taken into custody regarding the stabbing. Spokane Major Crimes Detectives are responding to further investigate the crime scene. At this time the investigation is still ongoing.
