4:11 p.m. - Spokane Police Department arrests man for Reckless Burning after responding to three separate fires on the west side of the south hill.

SPD Resources Sapped during Unpermitted March Downtown

4:39 p.m. - The Spokane Police Department had to creatively redeploy resources as a protest that started at Riverfront Park turned into a march to City Hall.

Fred Meyer Attempt to Elude

2:52 p.m. - Sept. 16, 6:25pm, officers responded to Fred Meyer for a report of a wanted subject. The subject eluded SPD before being arrested for several charges.

Upcoming Pedestrian Enforcement

9:08 p.m. - The Spokane Police Department Traffic Unit will be conducting a pedestrian emphasis this Friday, Sept. 13 throughout the city.

DUI Crash Into House

3:48 p.m. - SPD and SFD responded to a vehicle vs power pole crash in the 200 block of West Queen Avenue.

3:47 p.m. - The next Coffee with a Cop event is Sept. 11, 11 am to 1 pm, at Starbucks. Enjoy a cup of coffee and conversation, all community members are invited.

Fugitive attempts to elude police in a stolen vehicle and causes crash

3:34 p.m. - Police attempt to stop stolen vehicle, which eludes them only to cause a crash.

SPD Drive by Shooting Arrest

3:45 p.m. - SPD arrest a man for drive by shooting, and work with Homeland Security who are investigating the suspect for attempting to obtain Fentanyl.

SPD Death Investigation

3:43 p.m. - Officers responded to a 911 call of a man who had sustained significant self-inflicted injuries and was fading in and out of consciousness.

SPD Groups Collaborate On Arrest

3:41 p.m. - Several Spokane Police Department (SPD) groups collaborate to arrest Modesto R. Briggs for 11 counts of Assault 1st Degree.

Sept. 5

Arrest Made In Aug. 20th Drive-By Shooting

12:14 p.m. - Detectives identified suspect from a Drive-By Shooting that occurred near Fairview Ave. and Ash St. The suspect was arrested in St. Helens, OR.

Reports of armed man leads to large police response in Browne’s Add.

4:59 a.m. - SPD responded to multiple reports of a male subject yelling and walking around the neighborhood threatening people with a firearm.

SPD Makes Several DUI Arrests over the Labor Day Weekend

11:18 a.m. - On Saturday, Officers from the Spokane Police Department responded to several collisions and incidents that resulted in DUI arrest.
