Suspect Arrested, Booked, Released and Rearrested Within Hours

Suspect arrested and booked for warrants, released an hour later and within the span of one and a half hours steals again.

Garry A Flett first got the attention of police when they were notified he had been trespassing at the House of Charity on 6-25-19 at 7:45 a.m. He was arrested by SPD officer’s downtown at the Intermodal on Warrants about an hour later at 8:36 a.m. He was booked into jail and released about an hour after that at 9:47 a.m.

Within an hour and a half he then stole an iPad from a new victim’s backpack which the victim was able to track. The theft occurred around 11 a.m. He was contacted and arrested by downtown officers and an SPD detective while still possessing the IPAD.

Downtown Officers report Flett has an extensive history and is a continual problem for them downtown.
