Judge gives convicted registered sex offender the maximum allowable sentence for Rape of a Child 1st degree and 1st degree Child Molestation. 

On June 24th, 2019 a jury found Johnathon Hancock guilty of 1st degree Child Rape and 1st degree Child Molestation for a sexual assault. He has a prior juvenile conviction of Incest in and was already an RSO as a result.

On July 30th a judge gave Hancock a sentence of 236 months to life for Rape of a Child 1st degree and Child Molestation 1st degree and lifetime community custody.

The Spokane Police Department Major Crimes Detective who worked the case gave special thanks to the prosecutor stating “this was a tough one, she did an outstanding job.”
