Shooting Sends Three to the Hospital

A shooting in northeast Spokane sends three to area hospitals, two for gunshot wounds and one for being struck by a vehicle.

Today, around 1:42 p.m., an altercation, involving several people took place in an alley in the area of 5400 N. Regal Street. It was reported one male was struck by a vehicle before someone began shooting a firearm.

Two males were struck by the gunfire. One shooting victim left the area prior to police arrival and he showed up at an area hospital. A second victim was located by police. Medics transported him to an area hospital for treatment. Neither appear to have life threatening injuries at this time.

The scene was secured and Major Crimes Detectives took over the investigation.

No arrests have been made at this time.

This investigation is in the early stages and there are not more details to release at this time.
