Fatal Collision

Officers respond to a fatal collision at N. Aubrey L White Parkway and W Rifle Club road.

On 08/282020 at 0018 hrs, Officers were dispatched to a collision where it was reported a male was laying in the street and his car was crashed into a tree At N Aubrey L White Parkway/W Rifle Club Rd.  Officers arrived and located the male laying in the road, they requested medics and fire personnel.  Fire arrived and confirmed the man was deceased.  

Officers as well as a Police K9 checked the area to make sure there were no other victims.  No one was located. 

The Spokane Police Department Major Crimes Traffic Collision Investigation unit was called in and is handling the investigation.  The preliminary investigation suggests the deceased was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle.   While preliminary it appears this was a single vehicle collision.
