A drive-by shooting sends a man to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the upper leg. Investigators are working to identify a suspect.

On November 1, 2020, around 5:27 a.m., Spokane Police Department patrol officers responded to a drive-by shooting, with a victim, in the area of 2600 E. Riverside Avenue. Several callers reported hearing numerous gun shots in the area. Officers arrived on scene and found uncooperative witnesses and a gunshot victim.

Officers applied a tourniquet to the victim’s upper leg and requested medics to take over treatment. The victim’s injury appeared to be non-life threatening and he was transported to an area hospital.

SPD Major Crimes detectives responded to continue the investigation. This is an ongoing investigation and there are no suspects at this time.
