SPD seeks assistance locating a vehicle and driver involved in a hit and run that seriously injured a pedestrian

On 10/21/23 at approximately 12:30am, Spokane Police responded to a hit and run collision in the 700 block of West Sprague Avenue. A pedestrian was sitting in the roadway near the intersection of West Sprague Ave and Wall St. when he was struck, pinned under the vehicle, and dragged underneath for a significant distance.  The vehicle then fled westbound on West Sprague Ave and was not located.  The pedestrian suffered life threatening injuries.

The involved driver is described as a younger white female, possibly with glasses. The vehicle is described as a silver newer model Honda Civic sedan with no front plate.  The vehicle may have damage to the lower area of the front bumper.

Anyone with information on the suspect or vehicle is asked to call 911 and reference incident No. 2023-20209980.
