On May 15th, 2025 at 8:55pm SPD responded to a single vehicle collision at 808 W Main, Riverpark Square.  Upon arriving, officers discovered a red Ford Mustang had collided with the building.  The vehicle had smashed through a set of doors, causing extensive damage.  Witnesses advised responding officers that the vehicle was travelling east on Main from Lincoln at a high rate of speed.  The Mustang struck a parked car before losing control, crossing onto the sidewalk, and striking the building.

Information was also obtained that the vehicle swerved to avoid a subject on a scooter before the collision with the building took place.  Officers evaluated the driver and did not observe any signs of impairment.  Due to the nature of the collision, the driver was evaluated at a local hospital.  Omar M.
