Vehicle/Pedestrian collision sends one to the hospital with life threatening injuries; area around Hamilton & Indiana will be temporarily closed
On October 22nd, 2025, at 10:39am, SPD responded to Indiana and Columbus on a report of a vehicle/pedestrian collision. Initial information to 911 indicated the pedestrian was trapped under the vehicle. Medics arrived on scene and the person struck by the vehicle was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved was contacted and is cooperating with the investigation and there are no signs of impairment. Evidence found at the scene indicates the collision took place near Hamilton and Indiana. The area around Hamilton and Indiana will temporarily be closed for investigation.
