Snxw Meneɂ (sin-HOO-men-huh), formerly known as Canada Island, was rededicated to the Spokane Tribe of Indians in 2016 in acknowledgement of their sacred and ancestral connection to the land along the Spokane River. Located just north of the blue bridge, the island features beautiful winding walkways, lush greenspace and a built-in amphitheater perfect for small performances, wedding ceremonies and other intimate gatherings.
