SPOKANE – City of Spokane Parks & Recreation released a draft Parks & Natural Lands Master Plan, created from extensive feedback from more than 5,300 residents at 25 engagement opportunities over the past year. View the draft plan and share feedback.

The plan will go before the Park Board for vote at their June 9, 2022 meeting.

“This draft master plan builds upon the legacy of the Olmstead Brothers and founding Park Board members while looking to the future, paying special attention to what Spokane residents told us they want to see in their parks,” said Parks & Recreation director Garrett Jones. “It will guide our focus, direction, and spending over the next decade and beyond.”

The Parks & Natural Lands Master Plan will be an evolving document, receiving updates each decade with amendments between as needed. Community members can submit feedback through the website at any time.
