SPOKANE – A new playground is coming to Liberty Park in the East Central neighborhood next year, and community members are asked to weigh in on what kind of playground they’d like to see.

Take the survey (open through June 12)

The design team from Michael Terrell Landscape Architecture previously gathered design feedback at Library story time events and a children’s design workshop. Feedback from this survey will also guide the design.

The new playground is part of a renovation of Liberty Park, which brings together seven partners to revitalize the playground and basketball court.

Partners are Hooptown USA, No-Li Brewhouse, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center, Spokane Arts, Spokane Public Library, City Council, and Spokane Parks & Recreation.

Design work is underway, and construction is slated for 2023.
