Spokane Police and FBI investigate north Spokane bank robbery

Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives and the FBI are investigating a bank robbery that occurred this morning in N. Spokane. Three suspects entered the bank and demanded money at gunpoint. Attached is a photo of one of the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.

Just after 9:30 am today, January 3, 2014, Spokane Police responded to a report of a bank robbery at the Washington Trust Bank, located at 3810 N. Maple in Spokane. Three suspects, described as black males in their 20s, with medium builds, wearing ski masks entered the bank and demanded cash at gunpoint.

Along with patrol officers, Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives and the FBI responded to the scene.

Detectives are investigating the possibility that today's incident may be connected to another bank robbery, occurring on December 20, 2013 at the U.S. Bank in the 3900 block of N. Lincoln.
