25 more charges requested for pharmacy robbery suspects

Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives have requested 25 additional charges for three pharmacy robbery suspects: 33-year-old Jacy L. Thomson, 35-year-old Philip J. Powlus and 23-year-old Dale J. Cusick. Each is charged with one count of Conspiracy to Commit Second Degree Robbery and Seven Counts of Second Degree Robbery. Cusick is charged with one count of Attempted Second Degree Burglary.

Through detailed investigative work, witness interviews, and tips from the public, Major Crimes detectives have connected Thomson, Powlus and Cusick to the following eight Robbery incidents:

  3. Fred Meyer Pharmacy – 400 S. Thor on 01-05-2014
  4. Shopko Pharmacy – 9520 N. Newport Hwy on 1-10-2014
  5. Shopko Pharmacy – 9520 N. Newport Hwy on 1-12-2014
  6. Albertson’s Pharmacy – 8851 E. Trent on 01-16-2014
  7. Albertson’s Pharmacy – 9001 N. Indian Trail on 01-22-2014
  8. Attempted Burglary of Albertson’s – 6520 N. Nevada on 01-22-2014
