Serious auto-pedestrian accident near SFCC

Spokane Police are responding to a report of a serious auto-pedestrian collision near Spokane Falls Community College (3400 W. Fort George Wright Dr.).

Initial reports indicate a female pedestrian entered the westbound lanes of traffic and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

The female has been transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

SPD Traffic Investigators are on-scene conducting an investigation. The vehicle involved in the incident did not leave the scene.

The westbound lanes of Fort George Wright Dr. are currently closed and will most likely remain closed for the next hour as the investigation continues.
