SPD looks to public to help ID Fred Meyer robbery suspects

Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives look to the public to help identify two suspects from a robbery that occurred on 2-22-14. The suspects threatened store security and a witness with weapons. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.

On 2-22-14 around 12:40 p.m. Spokane Police responded to a robbery at Fred Meyer (400 S. Thor). Two shoplifters (a female and a male) threatened to stab store security when security attempted to detain them. Additionally, when a witness attempted to take pictures of the suspects, the female suspect lunged at the witness with a knife and threatened to stab her and the male threatened to shoot her. The suspects left in silver Dodge Neon.

The female suspect is described as a: Hispanic female, late 20’s-30, 5’5”-5’6”, slight build with long dark hair with streaks in it.

The male suspect is described as a: white male, 5’11”, bald with a stocky build.

Police are asking that anyone with information about the suspects or who may have witnessed the incident to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.
