Spokane Police Investigate Early Morning Robbery

Spokane Police are investigating a Robbery that occurred early this morning. The suspect robbed a cab driver at gunpoint in the area of 4th and Ferrall and fled the scene on foot. A K-9 track was attempted, but at this time, the suspect is still outstanding. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.

Today, 11/05/14, at approximately 4:15 a.m., Spokane Police responded to the report of a cab driver that had just been robbed at gunpoint in the area of 4th and Ferrall. The victim reported that he thought the suspect was an approaching customer, but then the male displayed a handgun. The suspect then fled southbound with an undisclosed amount of money. The victim described the suspect as a white male in his 20s or 30s, approximately 5’5” with a medium build, wearing blue jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt.

Police officers set up a perimeter and a K-9 track was attempted, but the suspect is still outstanding. Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.
