Spokane Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting in N. Spokane

Spokane Police are investigating an early morning shooting, which occurred in North Spokane. One male victim was shot and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Spokane Police are working to locate the shooting suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.

Early this morning, 11/9/14, at approximately 2:50 a.m., Spokane Police received a report of a shooting in the 2900 block of N. Smith. SPD officers were on scene two minutes after the initial call.

A witness indicated a group was outside of a residence at this location and two or three males walked in front of the residence. An argument ensued. Following the argument, one male victim was shot. He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers initiated a K-9 track to find the suspects, however they were not located.

Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives are investigating this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check 509.456.2233.
