SPD Investigating Bank Robbery at Alaska USA Credit Union

Spokane Police are investigating the robbery of the Alaska USA Credit Union inside the Safeway located at 933 E. Mission Ave. The incident occurred just before 11:50am. The suspect fled on foot northbound from the grocery store with an undisclosed amount of money. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.

This morning, June 10, 2016, just before 11:50am, Spokane Police received a report of a robbery at the Alaska USA Credit Union inside the Safeway located in the 900 block of E. Mission Ave. The suspect entered the business and demanded money from a teller. He fled northbound on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers arrived on scene within three minutes of being dispatched but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’08” tall with a thin build. He was wearing a light grey hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants, and black shoes. This investigation is ongoing.
