Officer Pulls Woman from Burning Car

5:38 p.m. - An SPD Officer saved a woman by pulling her from her burning car on the north side. When the officer arrived on scene, the car was filled with smoke.

Traffic detour on south side during Friday’s evening commute

3:58 p.m. - A large semi exceeding height restrictions is currently lodged under the railroad trestle on Stevens st. in downtown Spokane.

SPD Releases the Name of the Officer Involved in Sunday's OIS Incident

3 p.m. - Update on Sunday, January 15, 2017 officer involved shooting.

Jan. 15

Spokane Police Investigate Stabbing

8:01 p.m. - SPD is investigating a stabbing which occurred in the 1800 block of W. Boone Ave. The suspect called in after stabbing his roommate with a knife.

SIRR Team Investigating Officer Involved Shooting

8:45 a.m. - A Spokane Police officer was involved in an Officer Involved Shooting (O.I.S.) tonight. One officer fired his service weapon striking the subject.
