SPD Investigates Assault near Boone/Ash

Spokane Police are investigating an assault which occurred near W Boone Ave. / N Ash St. 

Firday, Dec. 21, just after 3:00PM, Spokane Police responded to the report of a shooting victim in the 1700 block of W Boone Ave.  Upon their arrival, Officers located the victim who had a possible non-life threatening gunshot wound.  During a search of the area, numerous pieces of evidence were located which included drugs.  A possible suspect was later located and detained.  All the involved parties are accounted for.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was being treated for non-life threatening injuries.  The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
