Spokane Police Investigating Shooting in Northeast Spokane

Today, January 02, 2019, just after 1:00pm Spokane Police officers responded to a reported Shooting in the 6600 block of N Standard. A K9 officer was close to the call, responded quickly to the scene, and took a male into custody who is believed to be the shooter. At this point in the investigation it appears the suspect and victim knew each other. The victim has been transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound and his condition is unknown at this point.

Major Crimes detectives are responding to the scene to continue the investigation.
