Fatality Collision at Garland and Normandie

At approximately 8:42 PM on Sunday, Juen 2 SPD officers responded to a fatality collision at W Garland Ave and N Normandie St between a motorcycle and a vehicle. The male who was riding the motorcycle succumbed to his injuries. Major Crimes Collision Investigators were called to the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and interviews are taking place.

This investigation is in the preliminary stages and will take a few hours. W Garland Ave will be shut down between N Calispel St and N Atlantic St for some time. Citizens traveling in the area will want to look for alternative routes.
