Precautions in Place for Today's Assembly on East Indiana

Ofc. John O'Brien, PIO

Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 4:51 p.m.

The Spokane Police Department would like to inform everyone attending the event at Planned Parenthood of steps being taken to help keep attendees safe. There will be barricades placed on the curb lines of both the North and South sides of Indiana.  Participants from both groups are expected to stay behind the barricades on their side of the street, for their safety.  If people wish to cross the street they will need to do so at an intersection.  Individuals who climb over or go around the barricades and into the street, subject themselves to possible enforcement action. We encourage everyone to help us have a safe and peaceful event.
