Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 4:18 p.m.


Today at 1:30 pm in the intersection of Wall and Central a collision took place between a car and motorcycle.  One of the involved persons received life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.  He is in stable condition at this time. The injuries were of such a nature that SPD called on its department chaplains to respond to be available to speak with witnesses. 

Traffic in the area has been shut down and the SPD Major Crimes Unit traffic investigators have responded and are conducting an investigation.  Spokane Transit Authority routes that were affected have been re-routed.
