SPD Responds To Robbery in NE Spokane

On 12/14/2019 at approximately 10:39 A.M. a male entered the Walgreens located at 2105 E Wellesley Ave. The male was inside of the store for approximately 3 minutes and selected multiple items including gain laundry detergent, some stationary pens and two fragrance boxes from inside the store. The male walked up to the register and proceeded to tell the store clerk to give him the money inside of the register. The male displayed a black and silver colored semi-automatic pistol and pointed it at the clerk. The clerk gave the male the money in the register and the male exited the store and carried the two fragrance sets with him. The male left in a northwestern direction, a K-9 track was utilized but was unsuccessful. The male is described as being a white male standing approximately 5’06” to 5’08” inches tall and weighing approximately 140-150 pounds. The male was described as having a fairly long brown beard and blue eyes. The suspect was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt with a large yellow and white 87 displayed on the chest, blue jeans and dark colored shoes.
