11 p.m. - Andreus Thorson was last seen in the area of 1200 W Westview Ct in Northeast Spokane on 01-29-21 around 7:30PM.

Stolen Handgun

5:13 p.m. - SPD arrests a vehicle prowling suspect for stealing a firearm from a vehicle, after SPD recovers surveillance footage of him breaking into the car.

SPD Officers Test E-Bikes

11:37 a.m. - Spokane Police Officers test E-bikes while patrolling downtown Spokane.

Jan. 26

SPD makes arrest after thief leaves mail in recovered stolen vehicle.

4:30 p.m. - On January 25th, 2021 around 2:00PM SPD was dispatched to the 2300 block of E. Rich Ave. in reference to the recovery of stolen property.

7:57 a.m. - A message from City of Spokane Police Chief Craig Meidl regarding the upcoming inauguration and potential unrest

Burglary Arrest

7:55 a.m. - Officers investigated an attempted residential burglary in north Spokane on Sunday and eventually arrested and booked two suspects into jail.

K-9 Incidents

7:53 a.m. - Officers utilize their K-9’s, two nights in a row to end potentially dangerous situations, highlighting the importance of a well trained K-9 program.

Porch Pirate Arrest

10:46 a.m. - Two porch pirates were arrested on Thursday evening after taking a couple packages off of porches and stealing the contents inside.

SPD Investigating Numerous Burglaries near Gonzaga University's Campus

1:13 p.m. - Several off-campus student residences were broken into and property stolen while they were gone on winter break.

SPD Arrests Suspect for Two Robberies in Downtown Spokane

1:09 p.m. - Patrol officers investigate 2 robberies in downtown Spokane. Officers locate and arrest the 18-year-old suspect about 15 minutes after the incidents.

SIIR Team Investigating Officer Involved Shooting

10:29 a.m. - The Spokane Independent Investigative Response (SIIR) Team is investigating an officer-involved shooting in north Spokane.

Jan. 5

Woman Watches Suspect Ransack Home Through Ring Camera

4:11 p.m. - Burglary victim who watched her home being ransacked via Ring camera calls police and helps identify suspect leading to his arrest.

Domestic Violence Suspect Arrested

4:08 p.m. - A Domestic Violence subject was arrested for felony assault after attacking his girlfriend with an axe. The victim sustained serious injuries.
