On May 1st, the Spokane Police Department was advised that a suspect in a homicide investigation in Federal Way was possibly headed to Spokane as he was known to frequent the area in the past.
Additional information stated the suspect (Daniel Bray) was to be considered armed as he was involved in the manufacture of un-serialized rifles and was reportedly armed with a 9mm handgun. Members of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) developed information that Bray was in fact in the Spokane area.
On Saturday May 2nd just before noon, SIU along with SPD SWAT and the Air Support Unit (ASU) obtained information on a possible location for Bray. Bray was taken into custody without incident shortly after being observed in the area of 1200 N Stevens.
Daniel J. Bray (42) was then turned over to law enforcement from Federal Way.
