EVERYONE can work to save water during the summer, but we are inviting up to 100 City of Spokane Water Customers to compete against last year's summer water usage in our annual Water Wise Challenge! Save water during Spokane's hottest months – July and August – and compete to earn credit toward your utility bill. Only serious savers need apply, credits begin at a minimum 10% reduction in use. Your only competition is yourself, so no matter how heavy or light your water-use typically is, everyone has an equal chance to win.
A 10% reduction in water use qualifies for a $50 utility bill credit – and it only goes up from there! $100 credits for those who reduce by 20%, $200 credits for those who reduce by 30%, and the grand-prize household that saves the most gallons wins a $300 credit!
Enter the Water Wise Challenge online by July 15th. Once you sign-up, the Water Wise Spokane Team will email your water consumption numbers from the previous summer season and you can set your gallon goal. We're here to help with programs for reducing indoor and outdoor water use, as well as rebates for updating fixtures and other water wasters. Review all contest terms and conditions.
Step up your game this year by acquiring a Flume water monitoring device so you can view down-to-the-minute, easy-to-read, water use reports and insights to help you use less water and win.
