1:18 p.m. - Investigators with the Spokane Fire Department Special Investigation Unit say improperly disposed smoking materials are to blame for a fire at home.

12:16 p.m. - The cause of a fire at a duplex in North Spokane remains under investigation by the Spokane Fire Department Special Investigation Unit.
